Movie Review: Trainwreck (2015)

A girl grew up with the belief that it is sad to have to play with only one doll all your life, so she applied it to her dating life, and made sure she never got stuck with one man for too long. Trainwreck is a romance comedy about Amy (Amy Schumer's character), her numerous casual sex encounters, and how she mistakenly fell in love.

It is quite funny that Amy Schumer used her real name in this movie; I guess she really wanted to get comfortable with the character. And I am guessing that is how her real life is; sleeping with random men just so she could feel more in control and like a feminist. Her character starts out a bit annoying with 'miss and hit' jokes and very unladylike behaviors in the first 5 minutes of the movie, but she gets into the grove afterwards. And when her love interest, Aaron (played by Bill Hader) gets into the picture, things get more interesting.

This is movie is quite funny, and isn't lacking in the romantic angle too. It is kinda star studded, with appearances from John Cena, Lebron James, Daniele Radcliffe, Methodman (great acting for a rapper), Amar'e Stoudemire, and a host of other celebrities. This is a fun to watch RomCom, with a lot of vulgar language in it. I would give it a 8/10 in rating.
