Movie Review: Paper Towns (2015)

This is a romance high school movie with some mystery to it. It is the story about Quentin (Nat Wolf) and his crush on his eccentric, unpredictable neighbor, Margo (Cara Delevingne). They were close once, then they drifted apart over the years. But Quentin never stopped wishing for things to go back to how they used to be. One night, his wish came through when Margo needed his help with one of her wild escapades. The night ended as one of the best nights of his life, and then the next morning, she was gone. After a couple of days, Quentin found out she left clues of where she had run off to, and with the help of his friends, and one of her friends, they set out to find her.

This is quite a very enjoyable high school romance movie, in that more actual teenagers were used in this movie, unlike Hollywood's normal move of using actors/actresses in their late twenties and even early 30s. I also like the fact that, on the journey to find Margo (the love of Quentin's life), the other people with Quentin found or developed their own love affairs too. And the end is not your typical love story end; in fact, the whole movie is not like your typical high school love story. And it also has some deep teachings about life in general. Teenagers, and lovers of romance movies would definitely love this movie. A lot of beautiful, lovable faces on screen, and some good acting from them. I would give this a 8.5 out of 10 in rating.
