Movie Review: My Boss's Daughter (2003)

My Boss's Daughter is a very funny romance comedy. I have read a lot of bad reviews on this movie, but I guess most people just don't get it. This is not a serious RomCom, and shouldn't be judge based on normal standards of a romance movie. It is more like a spoof movie. I also like how they try to downplay racism by making jokes of ethnicity stereotypes.

Ashton Kutcher's character, Tom Standsfied is invited over by his crush, his boss's daughter, Lisa (played by Tara Reid) to her house. He has the belief that they are going on a date, only to discover that she only wanted him to look after her father's bird, while she went out on a date with her boyfriend. He is home alone withe bird, till people start to show up from nowhere, and then chaos erupted. In between that, Lisa showed up earlier than expected, and they start to have a connection.

As I said before, this is a funny movie, and shouldn't be taken for a serious romance movie, but it is romantic. I would give it a rating of 6.5 out of 10. If you want to a good laugh, you should check this out.
