After a car accident, Adaline stopped aging, and remains 29 for than 6 decades. When she starts to notice that she was no-longer aging and people started freaking out, she started moving from state to state every decade. She always tried her best never to get too attached to any man; and when ever she wasn't able to live up to this principle, she would run away without notice. At some point, her past caught up with her when she was madly in-love with someone new in the present, and this changed everything.
Blake Lively played the role of Adaline, and just the sight of her simple but enchanting beauty onscreen is enough to get you through the 112 minutes of this movie. But she did much more than dazzle with her beauty; she gave a great performance with her co-actor, Michiel Husman, who played the role of Ellis, Adaline's lover in the movie. And ofcos, Harrison Ford gave the movie a touch of greatness with the 20-30 minutes onscreen time he got towards the last half of the movie.
There is a voice narrating the story, which I feel took away a little magic from this movie. I think the movie would have come out better if the viewers were allowed to figure out everything by themselves. Regardless, this is a pretty good Romance Drama, and I would give it a 8/10 rating. It is the kind of movie you want to watch with your girl/man, on a cold summer night.
