Two Night Stand is a romance comedy about two people, Megan (Analeigh Tipton) and Alec (Miles Teller) who get trapped together because of a New York snow storm, after a one night stand. It was just meant to be a one night stand which was orchestrated online, till the blizzard, which made it a Two Night Stand. lol! So, this movie has a small cast, and there is about 80% screen-time focused on the two main characters.
This is not a story about a geek falling in love with the most beautiful girl in school and getting her in the end. It is not the story of a popular high school jock transforming a regular girl to the most wanted girl in school. It is the story of two very regular people spending time together and developing feelings for each other along the way.
It is an okay movie, not so much of a great one. Maybe if the two characters didn't have similar personalities, and talk super fast all the time, the plot might have come out better. And there is a part at the end where the girl gets pissed cos the guy didn't tell her he had a girlfriend. but they never got together with fidelity at the back of their minds to start with; it was suppose to be a freaking one night stand. I guess that was a low point in the movie for me. Although the last 5 minutes of the movie was a bit electric, and the beginning was promising, I don't think the whole package is great. I would say the best of Miles Teller for a romance comedy movie was in The Spectacular Now. If you haven't seen it, try and do so.
For rating, I would give Two Night Stand a 6 out of 10 in rating. A good attempt at creativity, but not just portrayed in a great way.
